INGREDIENTS
3 eggs
75 g sugar
250 g mascarpone
1 packet of ladyfinger biscuits (about 200 g)
250 ml strong coffee (cooled)
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Some dark chocolate (optional, for decoration)
INSTRUCTIONS
– Prepare the coffee
Brew the coffee and let it cool.
– Mix eggs and sugar
In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until the mixture becomes creamy.
– Add the mascarpone
Gently incorporate the mascarpone into the egg and sugar mixture.
– Whip the egg whites
In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the previous mixture.
– Dip the biscuits
Quickly dip the ladyfinger biscuits in the coffee (don’t soak them for too long to avoid them becoming too mushy).
– Layer the tiramisu
In a dish, place a layer of soaked biscuits, followed by a layer of the mascarpone cream. Repeat until all ingredients are used, finishing with the cream.
– Chill
Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.
– Decorate
Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and add chocolate shavings if desired.
