INGREDIENTS
- 400 g chicken breast, cubed
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 handfuls of mushrooms, frozen or fresh
- 2 handfuls of frozen peas
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons fresh cream
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground chili (optional)
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil
- Tagliatelles
PREPARATION METHOD
- To cook the tagliatelles: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil, then add the tagliatelles. Cook according to the package instructions (usually 8-10 minutes). Drain and reserve some of the cooking water for later use.
- In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic with a pinch of salt.
- Add the chicken, season with salt and pepper, and brown it.
- Add the mushrooms, peas, tomato paste diluted with a little water, salt, pepper, paprika, and chili. Mix well.
- Cover with water and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the fresh cream, adjust seasoning if needed, and simmer for another 5-10 minutes.
- Add the cooked tagliatelles directly to the pan and mix well. Add some reserved pasta water if needed to prevent the dish from becoming dry.
