INGREDIENTS

  • 400 g chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 handfuls of mushrooms, frozen or fresh
  • 2 handfuls of frozen peas
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cream
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground chili (optional)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Tagliatelles

PREPARATION METHOD

  1. To cook the tagliatelles: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil, then add the tagliatelles. Cook according to the package instructions (usually 8-10 minutes). Drain and reserve some of the cooking water for later use.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic with a pinch of salt.
  3. Add the chicken, season with salt and pepper, and brown it.
  4. Add the mushrooms, peas, tomato paste diluted with a little water, salt, pepper, paprika, and chili. Mix well.
  5. Cover with water and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Add the fresh cream, adjust seasoning if needed, and simmer for another 5-10 minutes.
  7. Add the cooked tagliatelles directly to the pan and mix well. Add some reserved pasta water if needed to prevent the dish from becoming dry.
