1 cup flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
PREPARATION METHOD
– Mix the dry ingredients
In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
– Mix the wet ingredients
In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
– Combine the ingredients
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix gently until combined, avoiding overmixing.
– Cooking
Heat a skillet over medium heat, then add a little butter or oil. Pour 1/2 cup of the mixture into the pan. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook until the other side is browned.
– Garnish
Decorate the pancakes with maple syrup, honey, fruits, chocolate, or cream as desired.
