INGREDIENTS
- 500g lasagna pasta
- 500g ground beef
- 2 chopped onions
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 liter tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 liter milk
- 200g shredded mozzarella cheese
- 100g grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper
- Dried thyme
Preparation Method
- Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the onions and garlic until soft.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, black pepper, and thyme. Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
- To prepare the béchamel sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan, then add the flour and cook for 2 minutes.
- Gradually add the milk while stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
- In a baking dish, place a layer of lasagna pasta, followed by a layer of the meat and tomato sauce, then a layer of béchamel sauce.
- Repeat the process until all ingredients are used.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30-35 minutes until the cheese turns golden.
