INGREDIENTS

  • 500g lasagna pasta
  • 500g ground beef
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 liter tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 liter milk
  • 200g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 100g grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Dried thyme

Preparation Method

  • Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the onions and garlic until soft.
  • Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, black pepper, and thyme. Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
  • To prepare the béchamel sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan, then add the flour and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Gradually add the milk while stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
  • In a baking dish, place a layer of lasagna pasta, followed by a layer of the meat and tomato sauce, then a layer of béchamel sauce.
  • Repeat the process until all ingredients are used.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30-35 minutes until the cheese turns golden.
